By using the app MeCode you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this app. The materials contained in this app are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

Use License

Permission is granted to use MeCode for scanning, creating, and managing QR codes and barcodes on your personal devices. This is a license, not a transfer of title. Under this license you may not:

• Modify or reverse-engineer the app
• Use the app for any unlawful purpose, including generating codes for phishing, fraud, or other malicious activities
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices

Your license to use the app terminates automatically if you violate any of these restrictions.

Purchases

MeCode offers in-app purchases through the Apple App Store, including monthly and annual subscriptions and a lifetime option. All purchases are managed through your Apple ID. Subscriptions auto-renew and can be cancelled at any time through your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple per the App Store refund policy.

Data & Privacy

MeCode stores your data locally on your device. The app does not collect, upload, or analyze personal data to any third-party server. There are no analytics SDKs, no ad SDKs, and no user tracking of any kind.

iCloud sync, when enabled, uses Apple CloudKit to sync your data across your own devices. This data is stored in your personal iCloud space.

Scan Hook sends scan results only to server endpoints you configure yourself. You are responsible for the security and compliance of your chosen endpoints.

Disclaimer

MeCode and its materials are provided on an “as is” basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaim all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitations

In no event shall MeCode or its developers be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use this app, including but not limited to data loss, loss of profits, or business interruption, even if we have been notified of the possibility of such damage.

Accuracy

MeCode strives to ensure accurate barcode and QR code generation and recognition. However, we do not guarantee that the results will be accurate, complete, or reliable in all environments or on all devices. Scanning and recognition results should be verified when accuracy is critical.

Third-Party Services

MeCode integrates with Apple services (iCloud, StoreKit, Keychain). Availability and performance of these services are controlled by Apple. We are not responsible for any issues arising from these third-party services.

Modifications

We may revise these terms of service at any time without notice. By continuing to use MeCode, you agree to be bound by the current version of these terms.
